I was acquainting myself with the regional restaurants of a new residence. Tipped off to Oli's, we gave it a shot and parked in the lot, only a few feet from the outdoor patio. Quickly seated, the menu was impressive. Truly something for everyone. Salads, sandwiches, panini, flatbreads, tacos, etc. Combinations of elevated proteins and cheeses, vegetables, sauces. Our server took our order quickly, a warm charred Brussels sprouts Caesar with grilled shrimp; chicken and Gruyère on a panini; a pork belly taco. The salad was perfectly dressed and tossed with large perfectly cooked shrimps. The panini stacked high and gooey, partnered with a substantial few handfuls of shoestring fries. Three crispy tacos topped with precisely grilled pork belly. We were all quite satisfied with our meals. The outdoor seating was pleasant on a warm breezy day. Mistakenly, we neglected to get a look at the interior decor - next time. This was a 5 - star experience. But, I gave 4. My hesitance with the last star was based on timing. Between ordering and meal service was a long 25 minutes. Yet, the crowd did not seem overly dense. Perhaps the inside patrons were taxing. Or, our server dropped the ball. I intend to return, find out, and update my review accordingly. Regardless, if you're not in a hurry, I can unhesitatingly get behind the kitchen's fare.
We had been looking for a restaurant to celebrate and stumbled upon Oli's. I have no idea why it doesn't show up on the Yelp map when I search. We were able to get right in. The menu seemed a little pricey, but not overwhelmingly so. Our waitress, Lavender, was great. I had the pork chop, while my wife had the salmon. Both were excellent. Highly recommend. Glad to have found a new reasonably "fancy" restaurant in the area.
*DOORDASH ORDER* We ordered Oli's through DD & were blown away by how amazing every single dish on the menu was. 1) chicken tacos - great. Amazing tortillas, I loved the sauce & accompanying toppings 2) ($45) steak frites- 10/10 the steak was massive. It was larger than the size of my fist. And the garlicky, thin French fries that accompanied the steak were addicting. I was full and kept wanting to eat more and more and more. 3) margherita flatbread - another 10/10. The flatbread looks a little crispy in the photo, but even the " black" parts of it tasted good. Perfection! 4) lobster tacos- good. A huge amount of lobster & the toppings add to the fresh taste of the lobster. 5) grilled lamb chops- my personal favorite! Huge, juicy lamb chops grilled to perfection. Even gnawing the fat on the bone was a culinary experience. I don't have any comment on the service/atmosphere of the restaurant because we weren't there in person. The food is amazing. I do agree with the rest of the reviews that the restaurant is $$$$$ EXPENSIVE. You won't be wasting your money though because it's delicious.
When we arrived I didn't know what to expect so I was a little surprised by how extremely (almost shockingly) expensive everything on the menu was. The outdoor seating area was very elegant and the service was impeccable. And then our entrees arrived and the food not only looked exquisite, everyone was very happy about how tremendously delicious our meals were! I have to say, worth every penny! I ordered the grilled Mahi mahi and asked for brussel sprouts instead of the rice and beans it came with. I enjoyed every bite! My sister in law ordered the snapper and not only did it look delicious, it was also an enormous piece. My father's salmon had the most perfect searing! My brother and mother had Chicken Parmesan and said it was also perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant. Do be sure to check the prices before you go, so you'll know what to expect.
3.5 We all enjoyed our dinners! I especially loved the mahi! It was a really good thick piece with no fishy taste! My aunt loved her tuna! The guys steaks were a little over cooked, but the flavor was great! It was a bit odd the mashed potatoes weren't ready yet for another hour, so the guys had to pick a different side. Cappuccino wasn't my favorite. Had a weird taste, but that chocolate cake.... We wanted to order another, it was that good!
